Aurélie Hourlier-Fargette, CNRS research fellow at the Charles Sadron Institute, Strasbourg

Aurélie Hourlier-Fargette earned her PhD (2017) in physics from the University Pierre et Marie Curie. Then, she completed a postdoctoral training at the university of Northwestern, Evanston, IL, USA (2017-2019). In 2019, she joined the MIM team (Mechanics of Interfaces and Multiphase Systems) of the Charles Sadron Institute as CNRS research fellow and she is developing research activities on foams. At the interface between physics and mechanics, her research are focused on elasticity and capillarity.

Alexandre Nominé, Associate Professor  Institut Jean Lamour - Ecole des Mines de Nancy

After completing his doctoral thesis at the Jean Lamour Institute (IJL), he spent a post-doctoral period at the Open University, Milton Keynes, UK (2014-2017). Then, he returned to Nancy at IJL as postdoctoral researcher (2017). He joined Mines Nancy as a Teaching Assistant (2017-2018). Then he moved to Saint Petersbourg at the University ITMO as Research Fellow (2018-2019). In 2019, he joined the Jean Lamour Institute as Associate Professor. His research activities revolve around the design of nanomaterials and its optical applications.
